Our people are our most valuable asset. It’s their knowledge, skill, experience, teamwork and motivation that ultimately drives our success. We believe it’s important to respect every employee. We provide a clean, safe working environment, quality meals, comfortable living quarters and remuneration packages that generally exceed government standards and industry norms. Our people also enjoy on-site medical and health care, subsidized grocery stores, and a host of facilities for after hours leisure and relaxation.
Respect means continual investment in quality training, giving every employee the opportunity to learn and grow. Many of our line workers, for example, go on to become technicians and forepersons as a result of our in-house training programs.
Continuity of employment is also a point of pride. A great many of our senior staff have been with us for more than ten years; a large number for twenty. It’s Hayco policy to move senior staff through different parts of the company, enabling them to gain experience across the whole organization.
We continually seek to improve our pool of skills and actively seek out the best talent from around the world. We believe it’s important for Hayco to have a diverse senior team in order to bring a global perspective to innovation. A globally diverse team also helps us to better understand and match our customers’ values and needs.
